Mindfulness Meditation Program - Day 3

Hello Everybody,
Greetings to all of you for a wonderful day full of peace, happiness and good health! Tomorrow, December 19, 2015 we will be meeting as usual at 5:00 PM. If you are able to come little early, please come and practice walking and sitting meditation that we practised last few weeks. I can help if you need. Please bring the following when you come:
  • Duly filled Registration Form
  • Maha Satipatthana Sutta Summary
  • A book to write your spiritual experiences (Spiritual Diary) and a pen.
Please find attached here with the flyer and schedule of our Mindfulness Meditation program. We encourage young and old, laity and clergy to attend this and get benefited. Please help if you can to bring those who are in need of your help in the neighbourhood such as monks and nuns, and senior citizens.
Things you can do to help us:
  • Personally attending the program
  • Maintaining Noble Silence
  • Transporting needy individuals
  • Volunteering by arranging puja materials and refreshments for the participants
  • Cleaning the temple
  • Sending us feedback
  • Keeping the participants free and focus on their meditation
  • Sponsoring :-
  1. Gilanpasa bottles, flowers, candles, incense sticks for Buddha Puja
  2. Electricity bill to the temple,
  3. Pirikara to participating monks and nuns
  4. Printing study materials related to the program
  5. Water bottles for the participants
  6. Refreshments for the participants
  7. Paper serviettes etc
  8. Toilet papers etc
Schedule for tomorrow's program:
  • 4:45 PM - Arriving at the temple and start practicing at the Shrine Room
  • 5:00 PM - Starting the initial chanting in brief and sitting meditation
  • 5:30 PM - Practicing Walking Meditation
  • 5:45 PM - Practicing Standing Meditation in front of the Buddha
  • 6:00 PM - Group Discussion and Spiritual Diary
  • 6:30 PM - Conclusion of Meditation
  • 7:00 PM - Buddha Puja and Chanting Paritta
