68th Independence Day celebration by Sri Lankan Americans in Los Angeles, the second function in a week was a wonderful forum to many talented youth promoting the amazing cultural diversity of the lush green emerald island. This cultural extravaganza was organized by the Serendib Foundation led by Medini Ratnayake and Asela Ratnayake for the 9th year in a raw. Hats off to the dedicated production team and the talented choreographers and the young artists for making a mesmerising evening for several hundred proud Sri Lankans and a number of diplomats and local council members.
